Proteomics and metabolomics data are increasingly combined with genomics information in multi-omics studies to enhance basic research and drug development projects. BGI has pioneered the field of multi-omics and offers advanced proteomics and bioinformatics solutions to support our client’s research1,2.
Recent advances in Mass Spectrometry have provided powerful tools for the analysis of proteins from a variety of organisms and cell types. BGI applies state-of-art MS-based techniques for protein identification, protein characterization, relative and absolute quantitation, as well as for the study of post-translational modifications and protein-protein interactions.
We care for your samples from the start through to the result reporting. Highly experienced laboratory professionals follow strict quality procedures to ensure the integrity of your results.
Contact your BGI account representative for the most affordable rates in the industry and to discuss how we can meet your specific project requirements or for expert advice on experiment design, from sample to bioinformatics.
BGI proteomics services are available from our state-of-the-art proteomics laboratory, where experienced personnel care for your samples. A variety of LC-MS/MS systems are available to fit the needs of your unique project.
The output of a proteome analysis includes all raw MS data, protein hit identification, gene ontology and pathway analysis, expression pattern cluster analysis, etc.
BGI employs a wide range of data analysis tools that can satisfy different needs based on customers’ unique projects. BGI’s in-house developed software includes BGI IQuant for quantitative proteomics analysis and BGI IPeak for peptide identification.
